Courtney Stackhouse has a passion for helping people overcome difficulties and was drawn to HCRI because of the transforming impact of the institute's therapy program. She became a member of the clinical team in 2015 and completed HCRI's 500-hour certification program. This specialized training is required of all HCRI clinicians to ensure clients benefit from consistent, precise therapy delivery and the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Courtney has worked with a broad range of stuttering types, from mild to severe. She serves as a remote-therapy clinician for the institute, helping HCRI alumni maintain their fluency skills for life.
Courtney recently completed her masters degree in communications from George Washington University. In her spare time, she is involved in a variety of volunteer initiatives. She is also an avid runner and hiker
