Before joining the HCRI clinical team, Kristin Stanley worked as a psychiatric case manager at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare. Her experience also includes serving as a social worker for a senior living facility. Kristin earned her certification to administer HCRI stuttering therapy after participating in the Institute’s comprehensive, 500-hour training program. This advanced training is required of all HCRI clinicians to ensure clients benefit from consistent, quality-controlled delivery of the Institute’s treatment program.

A  graduate of Johnson University, Kristin has a gift for encouraging people to achieve their goals, which she has applied throughout her career. Kristin says the best part of her job at HCRI is watching the incredible transformation that takes place when clients achieve fluency and gain confidence with their speech. She has worked with clients from across the country, representing a broad range of stuttering types and severities. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys traveling and painting.
